CCTS Advisory
CCTS advisory & compliance for obligated industry
End-to-end support under India's Carbon Credit Trading Scheme — from monitoring plans and GEI target strategy to monitoring reports and verification readiness.
What we do
The Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS), administered by BEE under the Ministry of Power, sets greenhouse-gas emission-intensity (GEI) targets for notified industrial sectors. Save Urja prepares obligated entities to meet, document and defend those targets.
- Sector-specific monitoring plan preparation in the BEE master format
- GEI baseline computation and target-gap assessment
- Source-stream and emission-factor mapping with evidence trails
- Annual monitoring report preparation and data QA/QC
- Compliance strategy — surplus/deficit planning and CCC trading options
- Verification readiness and support during ACVA assessment

Frequently asked
Which sectors are covered by CCTS?
Notified energy-intensive sectors such as aluminium, cement, chlor-alkali, textile, pulp & paper, iron & steel and others. We confirm applicability for your specific unit.
How is CCTS different from PAT?
CCTS is a GHG emission-intensity trading scheme issuing Carbon Credit Certificates, evolving from the earlier PAT energy-saving framework. Many PAT entities transition into CCTS obligations.
Can you also verify our data?
Verification must be independent. Our accredited verification practice operates separately; where we prepare the monitoring plan, a different accredited body performs verification to preserve impartiality.
